Manual imposition in the Impozycjoner software involves selecting a page in the Table of pages and sizes and then placing it in one of the cells of the imposition cell grid by right-clicking in the preview window and selecting the Fill in the page from row no... command.

Note! Manual filling of the land use cell grid is only possible when the F1 IMPOSITION FILES panel is active.
In simplified preview mode, the page image consists of a rectangle representing the gross size of the page (with bleeds), a lighter rectangle simulating the net size (TrimBox of the page), and a frame. A frame with a "dog-ear" bent toward the center indicates a page in an odd row of the imposition table, while a frame without a "dog-ear" indicates a page in an even row

Two lines drawn along the longer edge of the frame indicate vertical (portrait) orientation of the cell grid (width less than height). Lines drawn along the shorter edge would indicate horizontal (landscape) orientation of the cell grid (width greater than height). The number in the middle is the row number in the Table of pages and sizes where the PDF page occupying the cell grid is located. Below the page number is the page rotation angle.
An empty cell, not occupied by a PDF page, is drawn in white and marked with the letter E. There is no rotation angle marking.
If the page orientation (portrait/landscape) matches the orientation of the cell grid, the page will be rotated by 0° or 180°; if the orientation is reversed, the page will be rotated by 90° or 270°.
In simplified preview mode, the cell grid occupied by the page is colored with the color assigned to the row in which the PDF page is located. The sequence of eight colors is repeated cyclically throughout the table.
In two-sided sheets, the cell that is the second side of the occupied cell grid is also colored. If corresponding cell grids are occupied on the recto and verso, both will be colored with the color of the row with the recto page. The figure below shows an example for a two-sided sheet, turned over to the other side using a side guide.

| Under the right mouse button, there is a context menu that allows you to fill the grid cell with the selected page, clear the cell grid, and rotate the page placed in it by multiples of 90°. | ![]() |
Each rotation command, activated from the menu on the recto side, causes a symmetrical rotation on the verso side. However, a rotation performed on the verso side has no effect on the recto side. A rotation angle that differs from that calculated by the program is marked in red.
To apply a context menu command to more than one cell grid, perform the following sequence of clicks:
| The commands in the context menu (including the option to fill the page with content) will work on all cell grids between the first and last. The scope of operation (from column x to column y, from row x to row y) is visible in the first row of the menu. | ![]() |
Right-clicking on the sheet number button will bring up a context menu that allows you to add and delete sheets. The sheet context menu is also attached to the grid cell menu.

The selected sheet is always displayed in blue [2]. Sheets in orange indicate the presence of empty cell grids [3]. When the extended information display option is enabled, the number of empty cell grids is shown after the “•” sign, and the sheet description is aligned to the right edge. Fully filled sheets are displayed in white [1], the number of empty cell grids is not shown, and the sheet description is aligned to the left.
