Important! The F8 GRAPHICAL ELEMENTS ON THE IMPOSITION SHEET panel can be enabled or disabled depending on whether the Activate the panel switch is selected or not. If this panel is disabled, none of the graphical elements specified in this panel will be drawn.
Net size markers, also known as trim markers, are lines drawn usually outside the print area, showing the boundaries of the net size (TrimBox).
Control elements for the appearance of trim markers allow you to:
| [1] enable or disable their being draw; [2] differentiate between horizontal (Left/Right) and vertical (Top/Bottom) marker lengths; [3] define the distance of the marker from the TrimBox edge. If the padlock next to the element controlling the distance of the marker from the TrimBox is closed, the distance of the marker from the TrimBox is equal to the bleed value specified in the F2 IMPOSITION PARAMETERS panel. If it is open, the offset of the marker from the TrimBox is adjusted by the element on the left side of the padlock; [4] set the thickness of the marker; [5] draw a frame showing the TrimBox (net size); [6] draw a frame showing the gross size; [7] disables drawing of markers between columns and rows (on clippings) if their size allows it; [8] marks the corners of the TrimBox with 3 mm long lines; [9] draw special extensions of markers showing the bleed value; [10] determine on which pages of the sheet and on which sheets the markers are to be drawn (this issue will be discussed in chapter 4.9. Placing drawn markers on selected sheets and pages); [11] determine the colors of the markers. |
