An imposition template is an imposition design without a saved Table of pages for imposition, but with multi-line description added.
| Loading templates is available as the Load Template menu command. | ![]() |
In the Impozycjoner Templates dialog box, the user can select a folder to be used as a storage location for templates. The selected folder will be remembered and used in subsequent program launches. If the folder set as default does not exist on the disk, the program restores (as default) the folder MyImpozycjoner\Settings\v5\B_XML\Template.

The user can also define up to 9 folders that will be used as template storage. Once defined, the user can activate each of these folders by pressing the selected key.
The folders and their corresponding names assigned to the keys are defined in the file MyImpozycjoner\Settings\v5\B_XML\TemplateFolders.txt. Each of the first 9 rows of this file should have a fixed structure, for example:
C:\|Drive C
D:\Impozycjoner\Templates\Komori|Komori
D:\Impozycjoner\Templates\Glued|Glued
The phrase before the vertical line is the folder path, and the word after the line will appear on the key, provided that the folder exists on the disk.
The last, tenth button is reserved for the folder MyImpozycjoner\Settings\v5\B_XML\Template.
Each time the program is started, the default folder is read and the list of templates available when you select the Load Template menu command is updated.
You can change the description and perform other operations on templates by clicking on the template description with the left mouse button.

The advantage of saving the most frequently used settings as a template is that they are always ready to be loaded and you don't have to search for them on your disk.
All or only selected settings can be imported from the selected template to the currently designed imposition. For this purpose, a dialog box is used, which is launched after choosing the Import from selected command.

You can save a template to disk by selecting the Save Template menu command. In the Save Template dialog box, you can also use 10 keys with assigned folders. After selecting a folder, the list of templates in the folder is available in the File name drop-down list. You can add a new name or select an existing one, which will over-write the file.
