Important! The F7 GRAPHICAL ELEMENTS ON THE IMPOSITION SHEET panel can be enabled or disabled depending on whether the Activate the panel switch is selected or not. If this panel is disabled, none of the graphical elements specified in this panel will be drawn.
The subpanel is visible only for sewn and perfect binding.
| In this panel, you can enable drawing of a collation mark – a special marker in the form of a narrow strip drawn on the recto of the first sheet in the signature. The purpose of this marker is to visually check the correct order of signatures. The collation marker is drawn higher and higher on subsequent signatures, creating characteristic "steps." The length of the collation mark is calculated according to the formula: TrimBox height/(number of signatures +2). The signature is increased counter by 2 is to avoid drawing the mark right next to the bottom or top edge of the signature. Any deviation from the characteristic steps on the spine of the book may indicate an error – incorrect order of signatures or rotation by 180 degrees.

The collation marker can also have a fixed size and position, but regardless of its position, care should be taken to ensure that it is not too wide, as it may be visible in the finished publication.
A white strip, known as an adhesive strip, can be drawn under the collation marker. Its role is to remove the printing ink at the gluing point if the signatures are to be glued.
